Description
We would like you to immerse yourself as much as possible in the current literature on innovative learning environments, and write a summary of what you find. The purpose is have you situate your activities during this subject within the context of what research is telling us about the qualities, use, and impact of innovative learning environments. The literature needs to provide you the knowledge for the major assignment, and we expect that knowledge to permeate both Task 2 and also your discussions with us during the seminars. While Task I is short, you must continue through the subject to read widely and use that information to guide your activities.

What is the educational rationale for innovative learning environments? How does this rationale describe preferred teaching and learning in such spaces?
