Please choose one of the following topics and write a 3000-word essay
1. Using an example of your choice present a case of successful business model
innovation in any creative industry. Use the Business Model Canvas to describe this
business model and explain what factors have contributed to its success.
2. Technological progress could have a profound impact on sectors and industries,
causing considerable disruption, but also fostering innovation and the introduction of
new business models. Select a case study in the creative industries and show what
impact technology had on the evolution of that industry.
3. Choose an existing creative cluster of your choice, in the UK or elsewhere (excluding
Brighton & Hove). You are asked to prepare a report explaining the main factors that
contribute to the success of that cluster and outline areas of further development,
innovation, and policy intervention.
